April Fool’s photo results

Last week we had a great photo of the 2018 Kimball area firemen’s breakfast. The photo was actually a composite of five or six photos, stitched together in Photoshop before we processed it for print.

The problem was that some of those 200-300 people had the nerve to move while I was snapping the photos. The result was a few “glitches” in the finished photo. Rather than scrap that photo to run something else, we ran it with a sort of contest asking readers to find at least 2 of those boo-boos. We heard from several readers, one of them came to our office straight from the Post Office.

Here are the three major errors plus a bonus one that only one person found.

1. The two-headed young man (or a food thief hiding behind him).

2. Willy Looman is in the photo four times; he must have been moving fast!

2.5 or 3. The man in the hat standing between two of the Willy Loomans seems to be missing his right shoulder.

4. Paul Gannon is there twice.

Thanks to everyone who played the game, and responded that they found one to four of the photo boo-boos:

Keith Woodford, Ethel Donnay, Joan Donnay, Carly Serbus, Karla EHlinger, Jordyn Donnay, Jolene Leither, Stephanie Ramthun, Robyn Frank, Steve Waltzing, Jeanne Schmidt, and Katrina Rossman. (Hope I didn’t omit anyone who responded.)
