EV-W Homecoming starts Sunday

“Rock Their Boat” is the theme of 2018 Homecoming at Eden Valley-Watkins. EV-W will face the Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted Lakers in volleyball Thursday, and football Friday.

The week kicks off with the annual variety show and coronation, starting at 7:30 p.m., in the Peps Neuman Gym. At right are candidates (all seniors) for Homecoming King and Queen; they are Shaylei Brutger, Ashley Hansen, Kendra Kuechle, MaKenna Ludwig, Olivia Schleper, Damon Brutger, Eric Fodstad, Jack Lies, Jordan Steenblock, and Justin Streit.

Freshman attendants are Baili Hommerding, Madelyn Ludwig, Jackson Geislinger, and Teagyn Ludwig; sophomores are Reilly Hennen, Ayana Ertl, Michael Bautch, and Josh Streit; and juniors are Sawyer Kuechle, Halle Jansen, Zach Nistler, and Dylan Utecht.

Key events throughout the week include Powderpuff football at 7:30 p.m. Monday (at the football field), Elementary School pep fests Tuesday afternoon, High School pep fest Thursday afternoon, Volleyball game starting at 5:45 p.m. Thursday, Homecoming parade starting at the Elementary School at 2:35 p.m. Friday, and the big football game at 7 p.m. Friday. There is also a free movie night Saturday from 7-11 p.m. at the Eden Valley Event Center.

Dress-up days are Class Color Monday, Tacky Tourist/Tropical Tuesday, Western Wednesday, Jersey day Thursday, and Extreme Eagle Spirit Friday.
