By Karen Johnson, Extension Educator

The 2019 “Women in Dairy” event has been rescheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 13, at the Crow River Winery & Vineyard. This program is put on in partnership by the University of Minnesota Extension and the Minnesota Dairy Initiative – SouthCentral Region. All previous advertised event details will remain the same.

The featured speaker of the evening will be Julie Tesch from the Center for Rural Policy and Development. This event’s focus is to inspire women with ties to the dairy industry through networking, education and empowerment.  This event will run from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., beginning with registration/social gathering and followed by dinner and the program speaker starting at 7 p.m.

Pre-registration is required. If pre-registered and unable to attend the new date, please contact the McLeod County Extension office at (320) 484-4334, or mnext-mcleod@umn.edu. If you are now able to make the event, cost is $25 by also contacting the McLeod County Extension office by Tuesday, Feb. 5.
