Theatre goers will be pleased with the current choice of Great Northern Theatre for their winter dinner theatre. “The Spitfire Grill” is heartwarming and unique. When Percy, recently released from prison, decides to move to a small Wisconsin town, she encounters Hannah and the Spitfire Grill.

Having read about the town in a travel magazine, Percy decides this is where she will make her new start. The grill is struggling, and Hannah wants to sell. With no buyers in view, Percy suggests that Hannah sell it to the best essay writer. They offer a chance to win for $100 and a written statement about why they want the grill.

Bags of mail pour in and, the rest of the story? Well, come see for yourself.

Director Vicki Meyer says, “I smile, I laugh, I get so absorbed in the story. Sometimes I get goosebumps.”

The music for this show is amazing, and the instruments include guitar, mandolin, violin and accordion.
