Support Kimball Food Shelf

Dear community area donors,

March 2019 is upon us, bringing with it, this years Kimball Area Food Shelf Inc. March Food Drive.

We have been blessed with wonderful support from the area community like you. We hope that your amazing support continues as we enter this new year.

On average, we monthly serve 36 families, or 110 individuals. This means we roughly give out 3,500 pounds of food and other household needs, such as toilet paper.

Many of those who come to us in need have become recently unemployed, senior citizens, and even those who are still working, just trying to make it through. Some of our clients have a disability or are struggling with medical bills that have set them back. We do our best to help our clients with dignity and respect as many would rather not have to use the food shelf at all. However, sometimes they have nowhere else to turn for that extra help to provide for themselves and their families.

The March food drive is a vital part of our yearly financial totals. Based on the amount of money and pounds of food collected during the month of March, combined with the number of those served in the first three months of this year, we are able to receive money from the state.

Please consider supporting our local community by giving generously to the Kimball Area Food Shelf Inc. this March. All money and food collected are kept in this community.

All food or checks may be given directly to the Kimball Area Food Shelf Inc. or brought to any of the local churches or schools in our community.

Please send checks to:

Kimball Area Food Shelf Inc.

PO Box 99

Kimball, MN 55353

Thank you very much for your support.

Mary Mathies, Kimball Area Food Shelf Coordinator
