Cyril Haus of Pearl Lake (Marty) died Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at Assumption Home in Cold Spring. He was 82.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 29, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Pearl Lake (Marty). Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Relatives and friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Wenner Funeral Home in Richmond. Parish prayers will be at 3:45 p.m.
Cyril was born Feb. 25, 1937, in Pearl Lake to Henry and Anna (Klehr) Haus. He married Marian Valerius Sept. 7, 1959, at Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Rockville. Cyril was a member of Holy Cross Parish. He loved to fish, play cards (poker and euchre), he made and donated many handmade rosaries, he enjoyed polka music, and he was an avid Twins fan.
Cyril was preceded in death by his son Edward Haus, daughter-in-law Stacey Haus, and by his siblings Adella, Severin, Alvin, Virgil, Eldred, and Irene.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Marian; children Diane (and Allan) Kuechle, David (and Judy) Haus, Marjorie (and Willard) Kuechle, Gerald (and Lisa) Haus, Alan (and Michele) Haus, Mark Haus, Charles (and Sondra) Haus, Jana (and Troy) Hilsgen, John (and Nicol) Haus, Debra Haus, Neil (and Terese) Haus; daughter-in-law Kathy Haus; 26 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; brother Elmer (and Dolores) Haus, and sister-in-law Dorothy Haus.
