Congrats to EV-W/K track at State

Putting a cap on a brilliant season, the EV-W/K tracksters looked awesome in the state track and field championships at Hamline University Friday and Saturday, June 7 and 8.

Seventeen EV-W/K individuals qualified for the State Track and Field Championships: -Catera Davis – 4×100; Madelyn Hunt – 4×100; Kennedy Kleist – 4×400; -Brielle Kuechle – 100M hurdles, 4×400 and 4×100; Brookelyn -Kuechle – 4×800; Cailyn Kuechle – 4×800; Ellie Kuechle – 4×400 and 4×800; Sawyer Kuechle – 4×100; Zya Lueders – 4×800; Amaya Lyrek – 4×400 and 4×800; McKenna Moehrle – 4×100; Katie Ruhland – 4×400; Donnie Frilstad – 4×200; Billy Fish – 4×200; Eric Fodstad – 4×200; Parker Kenning – 4×200; Tucker Schultz – 400 and 4×200.

Highlights: Girls’ 4×100 – sixth place (Catera Davis, -Madelyn Hunt, Sawyer Kuechle, -McKenna Moehrle); 4×800 – -seventh place (Brookelyn Kuechle, -Cailyn -Kuechle, Ellie Kuechle, Zya Lueders, Amaya Lyrek); Boys’s 4×200 (Eric Fodstad, Billy Fish, Tucker Schultz, Donnie Frilstad) broke the school record but failed to make the finals. Tucker Schultz took 7th in 400-meter run. All athletes mentioned above received all-state honors!
