Annual family event focuses on witches; offers peanut-free, gluten-free treats
Witches and witchcraft is the theme of this year’s Halloween Historia. Join us from 10 a.m.
1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, at the Stearns History Museum, 235
33rd Ave. S, for this community, family-centered event.
Learn what your spirit animal is. Take a hayride through Heritage Park. Pet a llama, miniature goat, or pot-bellied pig at the petting zoo. There also will be a bit of history sprinkled about the Museum grounds on witches and witchcraft. Families are encouraged to come in costumes ready for an enchanting and engaging time that includes crafts, face painting, and a Halloween scavenger hunt.
Halloween Historia is peanut-free and offers gluten-free and sugar-free treats upon request. Admission is $5 for all ages. Infants age 1 or younger enter for free, as do Museum members.
For more information, or if you would like to donate to the event, please contact Caitlin Carlson at the Museum: (320) 253-8424 or ccarlson@stearns-museum.org.
