Jason Hansen, 43


Jason Hansen of Fairhaven Township died Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019, in Sherburne County as a result of a tragic automobile accident. His mother Lucille and brother Jeffrey also died in the crash.

Memorial services for Jason, Lucille and Jeffrey Hansen will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, at Zion Lutheran Church in Annandale with Rev. Thomas Queck officiating. Burial will follow at Corinna Cemetery near Annandale. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until the service Thursday at the church.

Jason Jerald Hansen was born Feb. 21, 1976, in St. Cloud to Gunnar and Lucille Hansen. He grew up in Fairhaven Township and graduated from Annandale High School with the Class of 1994. He continued his education at a business school. He was formerly a cook at The Waterfront, and currently worked as a cook at Clearwater Travel Plaza. Jason enjoyed collecting baseball cards, deer hunting, and taking trips to the casino with his mom and brother. Jason loved to be part of a team, and he had a smile for anyone that had the chance to encounter him.

Jason was preceded in death by his father Gunnar. He is survived by two siblings, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Urn bearers will be Keith, Mike and Curt Janisch, Chris Marschel, and Kim Haley. Rev. Ken Tatkenhorst will provide music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Annandale.
