Lucille Hansen of Fairhaven Township died Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019, in Sherburne County as a result of a tragic automobile accident. Her sons Jeffrey and Jason also died in the crash.
Memorial services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, at Zion Lutheran Church in Annandale with Rev. Thomas Queck officiating. Burial will follow at Corinna Cemetery near Annandale. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until the service Thursday at the church.
Lucille Ann Hansen was born Oct. 19, 1942, in St. Cloud to Arthur and Laura (Lazer) Bremer. She grew up in Fairhaven Township and graduated from Kimball High School with the Class of 1960. On June 21, 1969, she was united in marriage to Odd Gunnar Hansen at Zion United Methodist Church in South Haven. They owned and operated Scandia Upholstery; Lucy loved her work and bringing new life to old items. Lucy also worked as custodian at Zion Lutheran Church in Annandale where she was a member and sang in the choir. Lucy enjoyed sewing, working at the upholstery shop, taking trips to the casino, and spending time with relatives and friends.
Lucy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and step-grandson Kenneth.
She is survived by her siblings Marilyn (and Quentin) Janisch of South Haven, Karen (and William) Marschel of Garrison, and Jerry (and Shari) Bremer of Minnetonka; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Urn bearers will be Keith, Mike and Curt Janisch, Chris Marschel, and Kim Haley. Rev. Ken Tatkenhorst will provide music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Annandale.
