The Annual Election and Annual Meeting for Luxemburg Township was held in the
St. Nicholas Church Basement on Tuesday, March 10, 2020.
Dan Tschumperlin was re-elected for a three-year term as Supervisor over challenger Aaron Voigt and write-in challenger Jay Kuechle. Donald Dufner was elected to a two-year term as Clerk. There were 52 ballots cast.
The residents present approved a $289,900 tax levy payable in 2021. The breakdown of the levy is: Revenue fund $23,000, Road and Bridge fund $100,000, Fire fund $36,000, Debt fund $60,000, and Capital Improvement fund $70,900. The $30,000 increase in the Capital Improvement fund will be utilized to pay down the 2011 Road Bond.
